Pain Medicine
About Michael Grimaldi
Philosophy of care
My overarching goal is to relieve your pain to restore function and improve your quality of life. I apply a comprehensive approach that includes lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, non-opioid medications and interventional procedures. I take time to listen to every patient and develop a treatment plan that is both evidence-based and tailored to specific needs. Why I entered medicine
Medicine represents a truly amazing cross between science and service. I was drawn to medicine so that I could apply my knowledge to help patients when they need it most. Medicine is also intellectually stimulating as well as constantly evolving and expanding. I love the opportunity to learn from my patients every day while keeping up with the latest advances through medical journals and conferences.Community involvement
My wife and I are excited to return to the Lehigh Valley and Poconos region. We look forward to growing our family and putting down roots where we both grew up, met and started our life together.Personal interests
When not at work, I most enjoy spending time with my family. I also have interests in fitness, running, hiking, craft beer, local wine and hunting.Education
